Well besides getting a couple of reviews ready to post soon, I’ve just recently updated the navigation bar on the side of my blog so that everyone can find my posts, reviews, and other stuff easier. I’m sorry for my lack of posting (school and the responsibilities of having a new car have been keeping me rather busy lately). I’ll have more stuff up this soon. I promise ;)

NYX Stick Blush In “Pink Lotus”

Stick blush? It may sound like a funny concept to some, however I can tell you from personal experience that most stick and cream blushes that I’ve tried blend super well (minus the Maybelline “Dream Bouncy Blush” which I did not like at all). To be honest, I had tried several different stick blushes, but had never owned one of my own until I bought this little baby from the nearby ULTA store. “Pink Lotus” just happened to be the first NYX one that caught my eye, and I thought why not… it’s not like $5.99 was a lot to risk on a product.

Well, I didn’t even manage to make it out of the parking lot before swatching and instantly falling head over heels in love with it. Besides their simply adorable packaging and twist up tube, these blushes are amazing! Let’s just start by saying that Pink Lotus is a perfect medium pink tone that seems to blend effortlessly to give you just the perfect pink glow with a subtle hint of gold shimmer.

Not only does the color have quite the longevity and will last you usually anywhere between a good 6-10 hours, it also has such a creamy consistency when applied, and blends perfectly like I said before (sorry, I just still can’t get over how shocked I am by how well these blend!). These pocket sized blushes are perfect for on the go, and could easily come in handy for any emergency touch-up you may encounter during the day.

The upsides:

  • Creamy consistency, but not sticky or oily.
  • Perfect pigmentation.
  • Long lasting.
  • Cheap.
  • Pocket sized for easy transportation.

The downsides:

  • Availability- Can usually only be found at ULTA or online.

You may think that this isn’t beauty related and wonder why I’d reblog something like this, but there are actually MANY benefits both health and beauty related from drinking tea! :)
